You may have ideas on how to improve the way the department works, how to simplify a procedure, how to approach a customer, a project, a strategy or anything else. If so then it’s necessary for you to make yourself understood.

1 – YOUR CREATIVE TIME.

Think and put all your ideas in a document. Simplify by first Sorting and then Isolate the best idea.

2 – WHAT ?

What is the fundamental nature of my idea? What exactly do I want others to understand?

3 – WHY?

Why am I so excited about this idea?

Why do I find it interesting?

What could interest the other people involved?

4 – HOW?

How can you make this idea a reality?

What are the pros and cons?

What are the “what ifs”?

5 – WHO IS LIKELY TO BE ENTHUSIASTIC?

Who might be my supporters? Why would they be interested in helping me?

6 – PRESENT YOUR IDEA

Present your idea to the interested parties in an open-ended way.

Suggest that they improve the idea.

By working on it they co-own the idea.

7 – LISTEN TO RESISTANCE AND OBJECTIONS

Do not be afraid of their resistance. See the risks or objections as important feedback. Together you will be able to manage any potential weaknesses in the project and improve it. Ask for solutions and answers. Reframe. Be positive. Thank those who contribute.

You are a positive guide !
